Your depth measured table has downloaded. Open it in Excel: first
clear the Warning tab (that is what a cleaned inventory
means, an inventory with no rows the tool could not read), then type every depth you
know (leave blanks where you don't) and save. When it's ready, use Step 2
below with this filled table and your cleaned inventory Excel.
Prepare your finds for the 3D Viewer
Two small tools.
1 Get your fill-in list
→
You add depths (Excel)
→
2 Make viewer files
These two tools turn your finds inventory into a CSV file and an images folder that
the 3D Trench Viewer reads. Along the way, the tool estimates the depth of every find
from the real depths you noted, for example the average depth of a sub-square during a
dive, or the depth saved for a special find. You review every estimate before anything
is produced.
